Let’s Make Valentines – Make one-of-a-kind valentines for family and friends. All materials provided. For grades K-5. Tues., Feb. 13th, 2:30-3:30 PM.

Island Story Time – For ages 2-6, An open program that includes stories, rhymes, and songs with opportunities for movement and interactive participation for 30 minutes. Meets monthly on the fourth Saturday of the month. Saturday, Jan 27th, 10:30-11:00 AM.

Island Readers and Writers – Get together at the Beach Store Cafe to share books and writing on the first Monday of each month. The cafe will host this library program with a menu of drinks and deserts. Next meeting will be Monday, Feb.5th, 7:00-8:30 PM.

Home Funerals: Caring for Our Own – As sure as birth, death also happens. Choosing to keep our loved ones at home at end-of-life can be a sacred experience. Is it legal? Is it safe? Magic of the Crone– Therapeutic Workshop with Dvorah Carrasco MA,LMHC.This workshop explores and focuses on the gifts that age brings to our lives and communities. R2AK is the first boat race of its kind and North America’s longest human and wind powered race. The Friends of Island Library( FOIL) Board meets the second Monday of the month.. The next meeting will be Feb. 12th at 7:00 PM. Board meetings are open to all.
